The evidence to support the benefits of eating a low carbohydrate diet is overwhelming. First, the current recommendations by “nutritional experts” have been wrong and misleading for decades. The ingestion of excess exogenous carbohydrates cause a multitude of medical problems, and there has been NO scientific evidence to link saturated fat to heart disease. Second, there have been a robust number of studies published in peer-review journals that have demonstrated more weight loss and better blood indices when patients follow a low carbohydrate, high-fat regimen without any calorie restriction. There have been many diets tried over and over and the majority of individuals cannot adhere to a ‘diet’ because of food restrictions and wrong choices.
